Tom House was born on the 22nd April 1944 in Greenock, Scotland. He grew up in Scotland und England. He became seriously ill with infantile paralysis (Polio Myelitis) at the age of 6 ½ years and suffered for many years from the after effects. Despite spastic paralysis, he went through a painful process, one that he’d set himself - his goal - to recover and be and look like all the others of his age. His story, Jimmy McCall, is his own childhood biography. Only a few names and places have been changed. He became a Boy Soldier at the age of 15 ½. Later on, a few years after he’d passed through to man’s service at the age of 17 ½, he changed to the Intelligence Corps. He was in central Europe during the Cold War as a Counter-Intelligence Operator. The Post Polio Syndrome, not known then, but symptoms that affected him considerably, left him no choice but to leave the services. He then worked as a computer analyst in German and American companies in Research and Development departments for over two decades in Europe as Systems Programmer and Analyst. Later on he grounded his own company in Southern Germany. His Hobbies are singing, playing piano und oil painting. He has already exhibited some of his paintings.
